Is It Okay to Overbook Your Schedule for Aesthetic Treatments in Korea?

Dr.Evers Clinic · Busan Seomyeon notes that aesthetic treatments are not something to squeeze into any open slot. Rather than doing many procedures at once, what matters more is leaving yourself time to recover; for a first-time treatment, the degree of redness, swelling, or sensitivity after the procedure varies from person to person.

When coming to Korea for aesthetic treatments, packing your schedule too full is not a good thing. At Dr.Evers Clinic · Busan Seomyeon, we see many patients who fly to Korea for a two-day, one-night quick trip and still want to set aside an afternoon to get all their aesthetic treatments done at once. Aesthetic treatments are not something to squeeze into any open slot.

Why is doing many procedures at once actually not suitable?

Rather than doing many at once, what matters more is whether you leave time for yourself to recover. Especially for a first-time treatment, the degree of redness, swelling, or sensitivity that may appear afterward differs from person to person. Something that suits you and is done just right is actually more comfortable.

Our clinic is in Busanjin-gu, and we often hear patients planning their schedule like this:

  • I've already flown all the way here, so doing one more procedure probably won't make a difference
  • I'm going back tomorrow, is there still time to do it today
  • I still have to go eat grilled meat and drink tonight, that should be fine, right

These thoughts all point to the same thing — putting the number of procedures ahead of recovery time.
