Dullness and Red Marks on the Face: Why Isn't Pico Laser Working?
Dullness, red marks, and spots that won't fade may not mean you need more pico laser sessions — it may mean the treatment wasn't matched to the type of blemish. Dr.Evers Clinic · Busan Seomyeon selects different lasers for pigmentation, redness, and acne scars separately, with no package-style sales pitch, and provides full Chinese-language interpretation.
Thinking a mark on your face is an acne scar, then getting full-face pico laser for nothing — this happens often. The dullness hasn't faded, the red marks are still there, and the spots haven't decreased at all. The reason usually isn't that the machine isn't strong enough, but that the treatment wasn't matched to the problem. At Dr.Evers Clinic · Busan Seomyeon, consultations begin by selecting treatments separately according to the type of blemish, with no package-style sales pitch, and full Chinese-language interpretation is provided.
Which treatments correspond to pigmentation, redness, and acne scars respectively?
At our clinic, blemishes are divided into five types with a corresponding treatment for each, rather than treating the whole face as one single problem.
- Red acne marks, rosacea redness, visible blood vessels: redness laser
- Deep stubborn spots, difficult age spots: Reepot cold pigment laser
- Overall facial dullness, sallow skin that makes makeup cake: brightening pico laser plus calming care
- Pigmentation on the underarms, knees, and elbows: body brightening laser
- Too many small dark spots on the face: individual mole removal
Why choose treatments separately by type?
Because pigmentation, redness, and acne scars are inherently different things. When the same pico laser is applied to the whole face, it has no effect on the type of blemish it doesn't match — which is why you only discover after the treatment that neither the spots nor the red marks have changed much.
Could I be overcharged because of the language barrier?
Our clinic provides full Chinese-language interpretation, with Chinese-language support for both communication and price explanations, so there is no need to worry about being overcharged because of a language barrier. Our clinic is located on Gaya-daero, Busanjin-gu, in the Seomyeon area.
