How Often Should You Get Popular Korean Aesthetic Treatments? A Frequency Guide

Dr.Evers Clinic · Busan Seomyeon compiles reference treatment frequencies for the procedures we commonly perform, covering ultrasound lifting, radiofrequency, ONDA, Rejuran Black Box, skin boosters, gold microneedling and wrinkle-relaxing Botox, and notes that these frequencies are only a reference — there is no need to follow the crowd or overdo it in one go.

How often should each treatment be done?

When explaining treatment intervals, Dr.Evers Clinic · Busan Seomyeon gives a reference frequency for each procedure separately, rather than fitting every procedure into the same cycle.

  • US ultrasound lifting: once every 1 to 1.5 years, a deep lifting base that gives collagen enough time to rebuild
  • Z ultrasound: once every 6 months to 1 year, linear dual mode, regularly maintaining a firm contour
  • HIFU ultrasound: once every 8 months to 1 year, suitable as annual routine maintenance
  • Thermage FLX: once every 1 to 1.5 years, three-dimensional tightening of the whole face
  • Wushuang radiofrequency: once every 6 months to 1 year, gentle and comfortable, suitable for people who are afraid of pain but want to maintain elasticity
  • ONDA lifting: once every 3-4 weeks, 4 sessions as one course, targeting localized fat and a double chin, and needs stacking for the effect
  • Rejuran Black Box: the first 3 sessions every 3 to 4 weeks, then once every 3 to 6 months for maintenance, as a basic skin booster that repairs the skin base
  • Re2O skin booster: after 3 consecutive sessions, once every 2 to 3 months, replenishing moisture and radiance in the stratum corneum
  • Gold microneedling: once every 1 to 2 months, 3 or more sessions recommended to improve pores and uneven skin texture, with a recovery period allowed
  • Wrinkle-relaxing Botox: once every 4 to 6 months, waiting for the masseter or dynamic wrinkles to gradually recover before topping up, not too close together

Do I have to follow these frequencies?

You do not need to treat the intervals above as a schedule you must keep to. Aesthetic treatment has never been a competition with others — there is no need to follow the crowd, and no need to overdo it in one go because of appearance anxiety. When explaining, our clinic positions these numbers as a reference; the actual plan still depends on the individual's situation.
